What a week it has been. To think that this time last week we were dripping wet building stairs.
Thank you to all who have been able to help out in various ways. It is amazing what we can achieve together.
Thank you to those who helped out on the ‘cancelled’ working bee in the rain (we have another one soon to finish off the stairs). I still can’t believe that Stuart spent most of last weekend working in the rain. Thank you Grant for sourcing the equipment we needed.
Thank you to Martin for showing me a very cheap nursery so we could plant up the raised beds.
Thank you to those who stayed at school most of Thursday to help with the green mufti day, planting with some classes, and selling lollies and grassy seed heads.
Thank you to Nikii for running the bulb fundraiser.
Thank you to those who have helped out with the cake stall, from the preparations to baking and helping man the stall today, to the packing up. Great suggestion for the raffle Colleen.
Finances :) Are you ready...
Green mufti has raised $490 once we take off the cost of Green Frog Lollies
Cake stall and raffle has raised $1,048-05 so far, with a few more dollars to come from the teachers next week.
So that is a total $1538-05 so far, and doesn’t include the bulb money. Well done!!!!
What a pleasure it is to work with such a great team for such a great community project.
