Working Bee Sunday 19 June

A huge thankyou to those who helped out on Sunday. It was a big day, but what a wonderful result. The seats look excellent and the cleared plumbago is awesome.

Newsletter Term 3, Week 8

Chicken Coop
Well done to the volunteers who worked tirelessly last weekend to put up the fencing around the chicken coop. Make sure you have a look next time you are at school – I t looks fantastic!

Next Working Bee – Sunday 17th June 
The Ecogarden team would appreciate anyone who may be able to help them installed the tiered seating for the garden. The working bee will start at 9am Sunday 17th June.

Green Day
On Tuesday 26th June students are asked to wear something green. Students will bring a gold coin donation to buy a leaf to stick on a tree in the classroom. When $20 is raised their class with be able to get a tree to plant.

New Chicken Fence



Rhonda French and her team are just incredible. They spent Saturday and Sunday at school in the rain building a new fence for our chickens. Thank you so much. It looks amazing!

Class 2M helped to dig the hole and put in the new fishpond.

June is the best month to buy and plant deciduous fruit trees. Fruit trees need well-drained soil and a sheltered spot with at least six hours of sun per day.
