Mr Green the Gecko says ...

Mr Green Says: Have you ever considered growing an olive tree? The olive tree is the oldest cultivated tree in existence and can live for thousands of years. It can survive poor soils, with little water, and its hard, thin leaves are adapted to prevent water loss, so it's an extremely hardy and forgiving tree.

Newsletter Term 3, Week 8

Lambs
Welcome to our two new lambs – Burt and Ernie. They have been a huge hit at school!

Environment Day
What a day! Thank you to everyone who contributed to Environment Day last Friday. The students  thoroughly enjoyed participating in all the activities and a grand total of $849.25 was raised on the day. This day would not have been possible without the help of many ecogarden volunteers.

Tiles
If you have any coloured tiles that you would like to donate to a mosaic project for the garden please send them up to Miss Scanlon’s room.

Election Cake Stall
This Saturday (8th September) the Ecogarden team will be holding a cake stall at the school for Election Day. We would love as many cakes/slices as possible to make the stall a success. If you can help on the day of the stall could you please contact Petra.
