“Plant nitrogen-fixers!”

All plants need nitrogen to grow. Adding manure to deficient soil is an easy way to add nitrogen. Some plants are nitrogen-fixers and give it back to soil. Beans and sugar snap peas for example. When harvesting a crop, cut the plant back to ground level and the root nodules should release all the valuable fixed nitrogen for following crops. Happy harvesting!
