Mr Green the Gecko says ...
Did you know placing a bit of vegemite in a jar is a great snail bait? To capture slugs and snails in your garden, half-fill a small container with Vegemite dissolved in an equal amount of water. Place the open container near where slugs and snails have appeared. They will be attracted to the Vegemite and drown.

Newsletter Term 1 Week 10
Bulb Fundraiser: Thank you to everyone who bought bulbs for this fundraiser. We raised an amazing $420
profit for the ecogarden. The orders have now been submitted and we will distribute the bulbs as soon as they arrive at school.
Chickens: We are searching for a family interested in looking after the chickens in the holidays. Chickens will be transported in their mobile coup and all food provided. If your family would like to be a host please contact Rhonda.
Last Tuesday 4S had a lesson on propagating. They took cuttings of oregano, sage and rosemary and after dipping in honey, the students planted them. Now they will get to watch them grow!
Bunnings BBQ: We are holding our next garden fundraiser at Thornleigh Bunnings on May 19th. If you could spare an hour or two to help on the barbeque please contact Colleen.
